Violence erupted in Pretoria West after residents stripped and set alight three houses belonging to foreigners.
Nigerians and Zimbabweans are being accused of drug dealing and prostitution in that area. A Nigerian citizen warned that South Africans in Nigeria would suffer the same fate if the continued xenophobic actions against them does not stop.
Similar actions over the past few weeks also occurred in some Johannesburg suburbs against foreigners who are blamed from drug dealings and prostitution.
The government has still not announced how they will improve border control to prevent strangers from the north streaming into the country. Probably they will not because the foreigners get fast citizenship and then gratefully vote for the ANC.
