A group of students of the former Technicon, currently known as the Tshwane University of Technology, kept the police busy by setting a fire in front of police chief Bheki Cele, offices in Pretoria.

This follows after the death of a student activist on the Soshanguve campus during violence that broke out.

Observers ask the question “what will the police do if farmers barricade roads, destroy and burn everything over farm murders?”
