The 13 month old baby, Eden Laird who was kidnapped in Brackendowns, Alberton has been found and rescued.
Five suspects, including the domestic worker who had taken the child were arrested. Money that was paid as a ransom that was demanded was also recovered.
The baby was admitted to hospital for examination, the baby was unharmed and has since been reunited with his parents. The five suspects will appear in court on Monday 7 May 2018 in court charged with kidnapping.
