The body of a baby boy was found yesterday wrapped in a plastic bag in a field along Leslie Road in Fourways.
ER24 paramedics were called to the scene, arriving at 12h40, after a man had discovered the body and called the local authorities.
On further inspection, paramedics found the body wrapped in a plastic bag. Unfortunately, the child had been dead for some time. Nothing more could be done by paramedics.
The details surround ding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
