Armed Nooitgedacht home invader who was shot in the face, has died

A very violent home invasion took place at about 3:30 on 30 August 2018, the owner and his son was attacked in his house. His son (18) was sleeping in the room where the banging came from and he realised that suspects were trying to break the door down. He opened his bedroom door and the suspects immediately opened fire directly at him. By then they had forced the door and was in the room with his son.

They kept on firing at him and he returned fire. There was a fierce gun battle between him and the suspects. One of the suspects fell to the floor and died from his wounds, the second suspect escaped and collapsed outside. This wounded attacker who has been in a critical condition in hospital since the attack has died.

The third armed suspect managed to get away with cell phones and a wallet.
