During the early hours of 23 May 2019, the control centre at Drift Reaction cc received a call for urgent assistance at a property in Zwartkop. The Iron Fist Squad as well as Tactical Units were dispatched and on arrival found a traumatised employee who reported that he was overpowered by three armed suspects. They bound his hands and ransacked his room. They made off with his clothes, money and cell phone. He managed to untie himself and called for help.
The teams searched the area close to the compound but the suspects were long gone.
Another property owner later said he suspects it might be the same three suspects who tried to break into one of his rooms earlier the evening however they were disturbed and fled.
