At 19h00 on Tuesday evening Netcare 911 paramedics were dispatched to a shooting incident outside the Leaping Frog centre in William Nichol Road, Douglas Dale.
Reports from bystanders at the scene indicate that a man was trying to hi-jack cars when he was shot. Exact detail to the incident however will form part of the South African Police investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found a man lying on the ground, tragically he died before our arrival due to the extensive injury that he sustained.
Paramedics treated a pregnant female at the scene that was severely traumatised by the shooting before they transported her to a nearby hospital for further care.
