On 19 September 2018, at about 13:00 four suspects were involved in a house robbery at Alberton. As they were driving away, the security guards (CPS Security) followed them and a shoot out between them ensued until at the M1 where the suspects’ vehicle lost control.
The vehicle hit a palisade fencing on the side of the Highway. Four suspects jumped out and were caught while running away on foot.
Three firearms (pistols) were seized at the scene.
The suspects will be charged with house robbery, attempted murder and possession of firearms and ammunition.
