EMER-G-MED Paramedics are on the scene of a shoot-out between police and suspects on the N14 between the R512 and the R511 in Nooitgedacht.
Two suspects have been shot and several have been arrested. Paramedics are busy treating the injured suspects, one of which is in a serious condition.
The highway has been closed! Heavy delays approaching the scene.

Three men have been injured this morning after an apparent shootout on the N14 near the Petroport, north of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics, along with another services, arrived on the scene and found a heavy SAPS presence.
A bakkie lay off into the veld a short distance away from the road, with three men lying a few metres away.
On inspection, paramedics found that three men had sustained numerous gunshot wounds, leaving two of them in a critical condition while the third with moderate injuries.
Paramedics treated the patients and provided the critically injured patient with advanced life support.
Once treated, the patients will be transported to nearby hospitals for urgent treatment.
The details surrounding the shooting are not yet known but local authorities are on the scene to investigate further.
