Police arrested two suspects between the age of 32 and 33 for armed robbery at Germiston on 2 February 2020, at 22:00.
It is alleged that suspects robbed a 37 year old male at Mayfair on 2 February 2020, at 12:00.
The victim was driving his vehicle when he was blocked by a white Toyota Corolla and a red Polo VW. Both drivers jumped out of their vehicles and pointed the victim with firearms. They took R55 300-00 cash before they fled the scene.
The money was for buying stock for his business. One of the suspects was known to the victim.
Business people are cautioned to refrain from carrying large amounts of money in their vehicles. Also refrain from keeping large amounts of money at business premises.
