On the morning of 11 June 2017 at 00h49, Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a stabbing incident in Yeo Street, Bellevue East, Johannesburg.
Reports from the scene indicate that a seventeen-year-old boy had gone out with friends when he was stabbed in the chest with a screwdriver.
The friends then took him home and called for an ambulance. Exact details to the incident however will form part of the South African Police investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the boy had gone into cardiac arrest. The advanced Life Support paramedic and his team immediately started with a resuscitation, despite a desperate attempt to revive the boy, he was tragically declared dead at the scene.
