Front National to approach SAHRC on Clive Derby Lewis medical parole refusal
Clive Derby Lewis

‎Media Statement: “After a delay of many months, Front National (FN) received a response from the Department of Correctional Services to our petitions for the release of Clive Derby Lewis, which we presented on 12 April, 30 May and 19 September. To be honest, it was a revelation. In the 8 pages long document the issue is thoroughly discussed.

After carefully studying the document, we are now more convinced than ever of the fact that the continued incarceration of oom Clive is a political question and that the delay in his release comes from the Minister of Correctional Services and Justice.

The document will be extensively discussed with the SA Human Rights Commission at our meeting with them at their offices in Braamfontein tomorrow 12:00 noon. After the meeting it will be made available to the media. Hannes Engelbrecht, Willie Cloete and Gordon Fox will represent Front National at the meeting.
