Front National demands the immediate suspension of police officers of the Douglasdale police station after a video recording was made public in which the alleged sexual assault of two white men became apparent.

According to the two men they were stopped in their car by a police vehicle at 3:30 am on 18 August at Pineslopes and ordered to get out of the vehicle. One of the men did not immediately react and was violently pulled from the car, thrown on the ground and hit on the head with the butt of a gun. The police officer threatened to kill him. The video recording shows how one of the men calls out for help saying that he cannot breathe while being strangled. His pants is then pulled down while his private parts are publically exposed and a rectal search is carried out on him. The men are then warned not to “do this again” without “this” being defined by the police officers.

The two men believe that they were victimized for being white.

This action by officers of the state, in charge of the safety and protection of the freedom of citizens, is reminiscent of the type of police brutality under the previous regime or in dictatorships such as Nazi Germany and Communist Soviet Russia.

Front National South Africa demands the immediate suspension of the officers implicated and a full, independent, public investigation into police brutality in South Africa.
