The Hawks’ Serious Organised Investigation team based in Bloemfontein hereby appeals to the public to assist in tracing Keke Ndibe who can assist in the investigation into the robbery and murder of a police official.
On Tuesday, 10 May 2022, two business robberies took place in Wepener at around 19:00.
Members of SAPS Wepener reacted to the complaint of armed robbery. Shootout ensued as the suspects started firing shots at the police. One SAPS member was fatally wounded and died on the scene whilst another officer was injured.
Five suspects have already been arrested.
