After the violent farm murder that took place on 17 May 2019, in Vredefort, Free State province. It has been reported that a child’s footprints were found in the home and it is suspected that the child was used to gain entry through a broken window and allow the attackers to gain access to the home. Theunis Frederick Jacobus Bosch (74) was brutally murdered during the attack.
The home was ransacked. The investigation is led by the Vredefort SAPD Investigators. There is no other information available at this stage.
