Two men, aged 19 and 20, will appear in the Heilbron Magistrate’s Court on Monday for allegedly raping two teenage girls, Free State police said.

It was alleged that between 4.05pm on November 26 and 5.30am on November 27, two 15-year-old girls from Phiritona location in Heilbron “were drinking with friends together with the suspects”, Sergeant Sinah Mpakane said on Saturday.

“The suspects wanted to sleep with them but the victims refused. They then went home with their friends. On arrival they found the house locked and returned to the tavern to drink more. At this stage the suspects allegedly raped two victims in separate rooms in a house,” Mpakane said.
