Three suspects aged 37, 39 and 61 appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrates’ Court on 13 September 2017, for alleged dealing and manufacturing of illegal drugs.
The Hawks assisted by members of Mangaung SAPS arrested the trio after following up on information about their illegal activities.
The SANEB members effected a search warrant at a house in Phahameng location on 12 September 2017.
A suspected clandestine drug production laboratory was found inside with methcathinone, methamphetamine and assorted chemicals allegedly used, worth an estimated R500 000, were seized.
Two vehicles were also confiscated and would be surrendered to the state pending investigations.
Any attempt by the suspects to request for bail will be opposed.
