Convicted rapist and murderer Thabo Bester is expected to appear before the Bloemfontein Magistrate Court on the morning of Friday, 14 April 2023 following his rearrest two days ago.
Bester was serving a life sentence imprisonment at the time of his escape.
He at this stage faces a charge of escaping from lawful custody, defeating the ends of justice, violation of a dead body and fraud.
