Terrorists attack farm, assault, tie up wife and workers, Kroonstad

A group of terrorists attacked a farm on Thursday night 3 May 2018,at 11:30. The farm Heuningspruit, near Kroonstad was attacked.

The farmers wife Hantie Lotter and farm workers were assaulted and tied up. The farmer Tewis Lotter was not home at the time of the incident. One of the workers who resisted was severely assaulted. Hantie gave her cooperation and opened the safe. Firearms and cash was robbed.

Four attackers were involved, with some of them keeping guard at a bakkie outside. According to the police, the bakkie, a silver Toyota with a spotlight on the roof, was stolen earlier in Bethlehem.

Nobody has been arrested and the police are investigating.
