Members of the Parkweg Tactical Response Team arrested a 32-year-old suspect and seized a cache of weapons and ammunition in Oranjesig, Bloemfontein, on Monday, 11 May 2026.
The operation was part of a concerted effort to remove illegal firearms from public streets.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court soon.
Investigations are continuing.
