Free State Agriculture (FSA) has called on the government to apply stricter border controls. This after another farm attack in the province.
Mr. Dirk Steenkamp of Palmietfontein was recently killed and now a black farm manager outside Ladybrand has been killed.
Tommie Esterhuyse Vice President of FSA declared that the government has not taken the necessary measures to protect agricultural communities near Lesotho’s border.
However, it is not only border farmers who are targeted but the agricultural community as a whole.
