A scrap yard owner arrested after he was found in possession of suspected stolen copper cable in his business premises.
On Sunday 7 August 2022, at about 16:30 Brandfort South African Police Service members received an intelligence led information about a possible stolen property at a scrap yard.
Members followed the information and visited the scrap yard.
A search was made and the alleged suspected stolen copper cable was found stored in bags. 51-year-old business man was arrested and is facing Possession of Suspected stolen copper cable.
The suspect will appear soon in the Brandfort Magistrate Court.
