The Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit is urgently seeking community assistance in tracing an 8-year-old girl who was last seen at Mantshebo Primary School in Jerusalem Park on 21 June 2021 at 13:30.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Bokamoso Shabe was abducted from school by an unknown woman. The grandmother of the child was contacted at 15:00 by an unknown man who called himself Aubrey demanding an amount of R50 000 and further threatened that they will kill the child if they do not receive the money.

On the morning of 22 June 2021, at 08:45, the grandmother received a call again from where a woman by the name of Nthabeleng also demanded R50 000 in cash for the safe return of the child.

On the day of her disappearance, the girl was wearing a school uniform, a white shirt, grey and white jersey, grey skirt and black shoes.
