A wanted rape suspect who goes by the alias Moholo, was arrested on the night of 26 April 2019. He was found at a construction site in Bethlehem where he was recently employed as a bricklayer.
Moholo was wanted in connection with the rape of a 78 year old woman and her granddaughter 11. The victims were allegedly attacked while asleep at their home in Fouriesburg on 17 March.
Members of Bethlehem Crime Intelligence, FCS, and K9 Unit were following information which led them to a new development area in Bethlehem where he was arrested. Bethlehem Cluster Commander Maj Gen Jan Tsotetsi has commended members for their swift coordination and response.
