A 49-year-old male accused was found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment at Bloemfontein for the rape he committed in 2019.
The court heard how the accused called the victim, who was 4 years old at that time, to his house while her grandmother was sleeping.
The accused told the victim that he bought clothes for her and then took her to his house.
Upon arrival, he undressed the victim and raped her.
The victim reported this matter to her grandmother and the case was reported to the police.
Dasheka was arrested by Bloemspruit SAPS on 25 December 2019.
