Two more suspects are expected to appear before the Harrismith Magistrate court on Monday 12 July 2021 for dealing in drugs after they were arrested on the N3 Highway near Harrismith.

On Friday, 9 July 2021, at about 15:30, members from Welkom K9 unit stopped a white Polo Vivo with two occupants, a male and female.

He searched the vehicle and found eight plastic bags containing crystal meth drugs weighing 1.2kg to an estimated street value of R600 000 hidden under the dash board.

The driver, a 36-year-old man and his passenger, a 27-year-old woman, were arrested for dealing in drugs.
