A female passenger who was ejected out of a vehicle that overturned on the R34 direction Welkom in Kroonstad has been found by police divers in a river.
This accident happened on December 24, 2016 at about 19h00.
Last night paramedics found the driver of the vehicle in a critical condition, he too was thrown out of the vehicle , but did not land in the river.
The man was stabilised by Netcare911 paramedics and transported to a nearby hospital in a critical condition.
Police divers searched for possible passengers but had to abandon the search.
The search resumed this morning and after hours of searching, the woman was found.
She was declared dead by Netcare911 paramedics on December 25, 2016 at about 09h00.
