Operation Festive Season continues to ensure that motorists, residents and their property are safe. Thus, these roadblocks are organised because safety for citizens of the Free State is our priority as the SAPS.
Today a joint operation was held at Bothaville comprising Bothaville SAPS, Provincial Traffic and Community Patrollers on the R30 road. The aim was to ensure road safety, possession of stolen items, drug trafficking, police visibility, and to conduct a stop and search.
In Ventersburg, Lejweleputswa District SAPS members, together with Provincial Traffic, organised a vehicle checkpoint on the highway. The aim is to ensure road safety, movements of livestock and individuals, illegal immigration, stolen property and to conduct a stop and search.
