Following the investigation into the disappearance of Mrs Seipati Lechoano who was reported missing on the 19 December 2018 and her possible kidnapping, the police made a startling discovery on 24 December 2018 at about 13:15.

The investigation led to a basement parking at Bram Fischer building which houses Mangaung Municipality where Mrs Lechoano worked. Her car was found parked and her body discovered in the boot.

She was found with her hands and feet tied up and the body had no visible injuries. All relevant role players and emergency services were mobilized to the scene for further the investigation.

A postmortem will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

A case of kidnapping and murder will be investigated for further investigation and anyone with information should please contact Detective/ Capt Khen at 074 411 8175.
