A manhunt has been launched for two suspects after a couple was hijacked at gunpoint in their own yard on Friday, 15 July 2022 at 19:00.
The 46-year-old husband arrived at home with his wife. They went through the gate and stopped in front of the garage.
While trying to open the garage door, two unknown armed males accosted the couple with a firearm. It is reported that during the scuffle, one shot was fired and the couple surrendered.
The suspects fled the scene in the couple’s white Nissan NP200 with registration number KMK 947 MP. The vehicle has a dent on the rear panel.
The following items were inside the vehicle, Samsung Galaxy J2 cellphone, Redmi 9A black, driver’s license, two jackets, groceries and medicine.
Police investigation continues.
