A man, believed to be in his 30s, was left seriously injured this morning following an alleged robbery in Hoffmaplein, Bloemfontein CBD.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 07h20 to find the local authorities already in attendance. A man was found seated on the side of the road in the custody of local authorities.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained a gunshot wound to his leg, leaving him in a serious condition.
The man was treated for his injuries and provided with pain-relief medication before he was transported to a provincial hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
