The police finally cracked the murder case at Malekunutu section of Tseseng village, where a man’s body was found lying in the yard of his ex-girlfriend, last week Sunday.
The woman’s new boyfriend has been arrested and will appear in court.
On Sunday, 5 March 2023 at about 08:50, the body of man who sustained two fatal opened wounds on his head was discovered by owner of the house.
He was identified as Mxolisi Mthombeni (50) residing at Phomolong next to Tseseng shopping complex.
The deceased was the ex-boyfriend to a woman whose son was also found in the same place.
Both the mother and her son alleged they haven’t seen the deceased for past few months, and were not in a relationship with deceased anymore.
On Wednesday, 8 March 2023, the new boyfriend got arrested linked to the alleged murder of deceased.
He has been charged and appearing in Tseseng Magistrate court on Thursday, 9 March 2023 facing charge of murder.
