Kroonstad, in the Free State has a drastic water crisis and needs urgent help. There is no water, the taps have dried up and people have to walk miles to collect water.

It has worsened over time, there is no water in the dams, and little has been done by the government to help the residents of Kroonstad. For months the people of Kroonstad have asked for help and receive almost none. The Democratic Alliance (DA) blame the water disaster on bad governance. The African National Congress (ANC) government, blame the water disaster on the drought, and in the interview, they are adamant that government has done everything possible to alleviate the situation. It is because of no rain, and not because of what government has done or so they say.


However, the ANC can continue to blame the drought, it does not help the situation and people are pleading for help. Everybody can make a difference.
