Judgment is reserved in the Estina Milk Farm fraud case against the Gupta brothers cousin and followers.

Eight accused appeared in the Bloemfontein court, including Varun Gupta, Oakbay chief executive officer, Ronica Ragavan, Ashu Chawla from Sahara, Estina director Kamal Vasram and former New Age editor Nazeem Howa.

Three Free State government officials, namely: Sylvia Dlamini, Peter Thabethe and Takisi Masiteng, stood with them in the dock.

Complaints range from fraud and theft of millions of rands earmarked for poor farm workers.

The state called for postponement for three to six months to obtain more information from the Emirates and India while Mike Hellens opposed the request for the accused.

Judgment will be delivered on Tuesday 21 August 2018, about the postponement.
