FREE STATE – On Friday 23 July 2021 at about 18:40, Park Road Tactical Response Team (TRT) operationalized an Intelligence driven information about a suspect believed to be in possession of drugs.
The suspected male was seen in the vicinity of long distance Taxi Rank (Majakathata), carrying a black plastic. He was tactically approached and searched. Crystal meth drugs weighing 0,870kg to the street value of about R600 000-00 were found in his possession.
The suspect (48) who was found to be an illegal immigrant was arrested for possession of drugs and will appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate court on both charges on Monday 26 July 2021.
