Police arrested two suspects linked to a house robbery on Saturday, 5 October 2024 in Odendaalsrus.
The suspects were wanted after it was reported that unknown males forcefully entered a place of residence before pointing the victim with a firearm, tied him up and took most of his belongings.
Information was received that they were spotted at a house in K9 Section,Kutloanong. Members from Visible Policing in Odendaalsrus immediately operationalised the information and solicited help from the Welkom Anti-Gang Unit.
Members then tactically approached the house in K9 Section, where they found two suspects in possession of items that were reported as stolen during a house robbery.
The following items were recovered: a hot plate stove, a desktop keyboard, a desktop monitor and 2 speakers.
Paseka Jack (34) and Teboho Mohase (39) were subsequently arrested for possession of suspected stolen property. They appeared in the Odendaalsrus Magistrates Court yesterday, 7 October 2024, and the case was postponed to Monday, 14 October 2024 for further investigations. They remain in custody.
