The Free State High Court granted the Hawks’ Priority Crime Specialised Investigation an asset forfeiture order worth R69 698.00 on 30 November 2023.
In April 2019, the law enforcement entity received a tip-off regarding drug dealing activities in Bainsvlei, Bloemfontein and acted swiftly on the information. A search and seizure application was promptly applied for, allowing authorities to search the premises located in Bainsvlei.
During the search, a significant amount of illegal drugs including tik, CAT and cocaine was discovered inside a Mercedes Benz.
In addition, cash to the amount of R69 698.00 was seized.
