Court exhibits in Bloemfontein showed how the Guptas, together with high politicians and government officials have ‘milked’ the country for R220 million, instead of the cows.

Money earmarked for an agricultural project was channeled to the brothers Gupta and Duduzane Zuma.

The previous MEC of agriculture in the Free State and nowadays a minister in the Zuma cabinet Mosebenzi Zwane, apparently chose the farm because of its remote location so that corruption and theft would not be so noticeable.

Money that was intended to go for the government’s “hunger program” was divided as follows:

Atul Gupta received R10 million, Oakbay Investments received R24,5 million, Aerotrading Port R21 million and R16,5 million were passed to the Gupta company, Vargafield , while another R15 million is split between several Gupta controlled firms.

The money was used to buy a private jet for R30 million, the Sun City wedding of R30 million for the hungry guests and expensive R19 million worth of cars.

The court ordered that assets of no more than R220 million be seized in several bank accounts linked to the Estina milk project.

Zwane must appear before the mineral parliamentary committee on Wednesday 24 January 2018, after his absence in November 2017.
