FARM ATTACK – Jan Steyn (35) was attacked on 14 May 2016 whilst driving on his farm to check that the gates were locked by a group of 8-9 squatters.
The brutal farm attack occurred on his farm in near Jacobsdal in the Free State.
The squatters damaged the vehicle with rocks before attempting to cut his throat.
Jan and his wife were able to escape the property and go to the hospital.
When they returned their house was found ransacked.
Police have not arrested anyone yet
