On 12 August 2023 two attackers attacked Rita Jordaan (73) on a farm in Koffielaagte, Heuningspruit, Kroonstad district.
She was attacked in an outbuilding by two men. They assaulted her badly and tied her up.
She broke free when they went to the farmhouse and she fled barefoot to neighbours.
A farm worker came to her aid and raised the alarm.
Farmers and police responded swiftly but no arrests has been made yet.
