Police received information about a syndicate that is operating around Warden on farms commiting farm attacks, house robberies and housebreakings.
On 3 July 2021 the Phuthaditjhaba Tactical Response Team conducted a self- initiative operation in Warden following an outcry on spate of house breakings and pre-planned house robberies in that area.
Information was followed up and it led to the arrest of five suspects. The suspects are linked to a Warden case of April 2021 where property and cash amounting to R600 000,00 was stolen.
All the suspects are expected to appear before the Warden Magistrates’ court soon facing charges of house robberies and housebreaking and theft.
