A farm attack took place at Tierpoort in the Free State on 29 June 2018 at 20:30. Farmworkers were held hostage by three armed suspects who wanted to know where the farm owner was.
The farm owner lives in Bloemfontein and fortunately was not on the farm at the time of the incident. Gratefully the farm workers were not injured during their orderal.
Only a radio and an unknown amount of cash were robbed. They fled the scene in a car (that was parked
200 m away on the N1) into a southern direction.
