Hester Hooper (58) was severely attacked, assaulted and raped by a thug in her house on a smallholding in Deneysville on Saturday night.
This is more proof that we are not even safe in our own homes these days. Statistics further show that assaults and rapes are increasing daily. Hester Hooper said she would not hide the fact that she was raped. She was at home alone that night when at approximately 21:45 she heard something outside.
She switched on the outside light and saw someone near the house. She tried to contact the Police but dialed the wrong number because the 10111 number apparently recently changed.
The thug threw a brick through the window, climbed in and began assaulting her. He subsequently raped her.Hester was very traumatized and she was afterwards assisted by family and friends.
The police’s forensic unit searched the premises and gathered evidence.
