Danish man accused of freezing genitalia back in Free State court

A Danish man, accused of keeping the genitals of women in his freezer, was expected to appear in the Bloemfontein High Court on Friday, for a pre-trial conference.

Peter Frederiksen, 63, was arrested in September 2015, after 21 clitorises were found in the freezer of his Langenhoven Park, Bloemfontein home.

He faces a number of charges including assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm, possessing unregistered medicine, possessing unlicensed firearms, distributing and possessing child pornography, conspiracy to murder, and bigamy.

Frederiksen’s wife first alerted authorities and they made the gruesome discovery when they searched his home last month.

The case has made international headlines and police have appealed to victims to come forward. It is believed that he sedated his victims before operating on them.

Frederiksen reportedly owns a gun shop in Bloemfontein and has been living in South Africa since 2006.
