Deneysville: Two 28–year-old cousins are expected to appear in the Deneysville Magistrate’s Court on a charge of attempted murder. They allegedly stabbed a friend of theirs and hit him over the head with a bottle. They were arrested on Monday.

Johannesburg: Panyanza Peter Numsunda will appear in the Palm Ridge High Court where the trial against him is expected to start. He faces four counts of rape, three counts of robbery, attempted robbery and the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Pretoria: Former transport Minister Sbu Ndebele will appear in the North Gauteng High court with five co-accused where he faces charges of fraud, corruption and money laundering. Ndebele is accused of accepting over R10 million in bribes related to the extension of a multi-billion rand national vehicle register eNatis project contract.

Cape Town: Alleged serial rapist Patrick Hlomane is expected to appear in the Wynberg Magistrate’s Court where his case will be transferred to the Western Cape High Court. He is believed to be behind the attacks on two University of Cape Town students and a hiker. He faces charges of rape, attempted murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances and kidnapping.
