A quick reaction from farmer Jasper Naude and wife averted another possible farm attack. Jasper Naude and his wife were returning to their farm Delsville, in the Reitz district from church on Sunday, March 12 and at the gate, spotted a man jumping over the fence. Naude immediate activated the alarm and the farming community responded within minutes.
The house and property were thoroughly searched and nothing was stolen, however, the two dogs were killed by the intruder.
The Police K0 unit search the surrounding area, and no suspect has been detained.
