On 4 April 2021 at about 06:00 a 29-year-old woman was walking in Bothaville when a man confronted her from the front. He allegedly threatened her and forced her to a nearby bush where he raped her.
The woman was also robbed of cash. The suspect then fled from the scene.
The incident was reported to Bothaville Police Station where a case of robbery and rape was registered.
The case was assigned to Lejweleputswa District FCS for further investigation. An Identikit of the suspect was compiled.
