Bothaville police arrests six with explosives

BOTHAVILLE – On the 23 July 2021 at about 17:45, Bothaville police were busy with routine stop and search operations on R30 road when they stopped a white Toyota Corolla sedan with North West registration.

The vehicle with six occupants was searched and various explosive devices as well as pairs of boots, harmers and mercury were found.

The six suspects aged between 27 and 44, from Khuma in Stilfontein, North West were arrested and will appear in Bothaville Magistrate court on Monday 26 July 2021 on a charge of possession of explosives.
