The members at Parkweg police station received a call this afternoon from a guesthouse reporting the discovery of a dead body in one of their units.
A team was despatched to attend to the complaint. The body of a male was found and the sister of Sydney Cooper was requested to identify if it was indeed her brother.
The body was positively identified Mr Cooper. An Inquest docket was opened to investigate the cause of Mr Cooper’s death.
