Parkweg police members acted on intelligence based information which resulted in the raid at a supermarket in the Bloemfontein CBD on Thursday, 14 June 2018.

The raid follows after police had received information that the shop is selling suspected stolen groceries which is believed to be stolen from the delivery trucks transporting groceries to chain stores around the city.

Items to the estimated value of R11 000 were confiscated.

The shop owner aged 37 and his associates aged 32 and 35 were arrested on charges of possession of suspected stolen properties.
